Getting in used to mean a loading screen, a queue, and hoping for the best. Now when you tap Join, you go straight in. No wait, no queue - you just walk straight into the main event.
No missed dates FIX

Three people in Original #8 sat out rounds they shouldn't have — their date was waiting in an empty room. Your phone now finds out who your date is while the host is still talking, so by the time the round starts, it already knows exactly where to send you.
Smarter age matching UPDATE

The matching algorithm has been rejigged and now will factor in age preference in 90% of pairs - which is a massive increase from before! So if you said you'd like to meet someone older or younger, Hugo now is firmly listening.

OG#7 feedback was clear — 60 seconds isn't quite enough. Dates will be longer at the next event. Still short enough to keep things sharp.

The countdown bar went grey in OG#7 and was basically invisible. Fixed before Sunday. Sorry about that.
Three Four dates MILESTONE

Original #7 was the first ever Hugo event with four dates instead of three. Nearly doubles your chance of meeting someone worth seeing again. And a record 97 singles joining.

Not everyone can do Tuesdays. Hugo now runs on Sundays too. First Sunday event: 14 June at 7pm.
Camera issue fixed FIX

Several attendees reported their camera wouldn't connect on the first round. We identified the cause and shipped a fix — it hasn't come up since.
