Hugo is live video speed dating for London singles. You join a hosted event from your phone, go on up to five rounds of 90-second one-on-one video dates, and mutual matches get their phone numbers exchanged at the end. No swiping, no profiles, no messaging. The whole thing takes under 15 minutes.

Why Hugo exists

Dating has become expensive. Days of messaging, £30-80 on a first date, and you still don't know if there's chemistry until you sit down opposite them. More swiping won't fix that.

Who it's for

Hugo runs weekly events for London singles. Original events are every Sunday at 7pm for singles in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Just Men events are for gay men, all ages, on Sundays at 6pm. All events are currently free.

I'm Harry. I built Hugo and I host every event personally. I'm the voice you hear on the night, the one picking the questions, and the one making sure you get matched with people worth meeting. Hugo Events Ltd is registered at Companies House.
